INNEG invites you to this free lunchtime webinar with Dr Kayvan Khadjooi, Consultant in Stroke Medicine and medico-legal expert witness. Dr Khadjooi has undertaken medico-legal work since 2015, preparing reports for the court on condition and prognosis, causation and breach of duty, with experience across both claimant and defendant instructions.
Stroke claims often involve complex questions around diagnosis, treatment timing and causation. Allegations may centre on a missed stroke, delayed recognition of symptoms, failure to escalate appropriately, or missed opportunities to access time critical treatments such as thrombolysis or thrombectomy.

Dr Kayvan Khadjooi
Consultant in Stroke Medicine
Dr Kayvan Khadjooi is a Consultant in Stroke Medicine and medico-legal expert witness with experience preparing reports for the court on condition and prognosis, causation and breach of duty. He has undertaken medico-legal work since 2015 and receives both claimant and defendant instructions. His medico-legal practice covers the full spectrum of stroke medicine, including hyperacute stroke treatment, thrombolysis and thrombectomy, acute stroke care, rehabilitation, TIA, secondary prevention, stroke in younger patients, and stroke in patients with atrial fibrillation. This breadth of expertise enables him to provide opinion on the clinical issues most commonly disputed in stroke negligence claims, including diagnosis, treatment timing, escalation, causation and outcome.
