Leo Lachs is the Director of INNEG, working with solicitors nationwide on complex clinical negligence and personal injury matters where the margin for error is small and the stakes are significant.

Solicitors typically approach Leo when they face one of three persistent challenges: securing the right medical expert witness in a highly specific niche, maintaining control over expert engagement at scale, or progressing cases with the pace and structure required to protect momentum within the firm.

Under Leo’s leadership, INNEG has developed a network of over 13,000 carefully vetted medical expert witnesses, with mapped sub-specialisms and focused panels across areas such as Oncology, Birth Injury, Brain and Spine, and Paediatrics. The emphasis is on precision - identifying exactly the right expert for the issues in dispute, managing instruction proactively, and ensuring reports are delivered within realistic but commercially workable timeframes.

His team is known for handling technically demanding instructions, geographically complex assessments, and hard-to-source disciplines. Recent work has included sourcing a paediatric neurologist with an eight-week turnaround, locating a neuropsychologist able to travel to Fort William, identifying an operating department practitioner to provide a report, and negotiating substantial reductions on high-value psychiatric expert quotes.

Today, INNEG supports over 70 legal firms each month, as well as individual solicitors who require specialist input on particularly challenging claims.

Outside of work, Leo enjoys long walks, good coffee, and spending time with his family.
