Mr Glenn Smith
Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Mr Glenn Smith RN (MH), BN (Hons), PGDip Clinical Practice, V300 is a multi-award-winning Registered Nurse, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, and Medico-Legal Expert Witness with over 25 years of clinical experience across both primary and secondary care. Glenn is currently Clinical Director of Lighthouse Medical and a Director with the Lighthouse Educational Foundation, where he oversees both clinical care and clinician education. He also acts as an Independent Healthcare Consultant, sits on the editorial board of National Health Executive, and serves as Chair and Registrant Member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council Test of Competence Assurance Advisory Group. His specialist interests include patient falls, pressure ulcers, wound care, dementia, mental health, nutrition, and tissue viability - all areas where substandard care can lead to significant and avoidable harm.
