Psychiatrist and Expert Witness

Dr. Judith Freedman is a highly experienced psychiatrist and expert witness, specialising in complex PTSD, trauma, and abuse-related cases. A Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, she has given evidence across family, civil, and criminal courts. Formerly Psychiatrist in Charge at McLean Hospital’s Adolescent Unit and an instructor at Harvard Medical School, she brings both clinical depth and academic rigour to her assessments. Dr. Freedman also convenes the Consortium of Expert Witnesses to the Family Courts, contributing to legal standards in psychiatric evaluations.
